The impact of the donated books was incredible to see. Not only did it yield high engagement from the students but It was rewarding for the families of the students too! I had many famies tell me that it helped ease the student and the families fear of beginning kindergarten. The students said they loved having a book of their own to bring home and remember the start of kindergarten. Some of my students do not have English as their first language but they were still able to enjoy the books by doing picture walks with their family. Thank you for creating such a sweet start to 21 students kindergarten education.”
