Singing, dancing, and playing instruments- that's how we spend our days in the Fairglen Elementary music room. My students LOVE music and I strive to guide my musicians to learn amazing songs, play awesome instruments, and dance like no one is watching. As far as classroom management I keep 'em busy! I believe 99% of discipline problems are actually pacing problems. I try to keep my students actively engaged which helps avoid unpleasantness. Carefully taught procedures and routines also help in avoiding misbehavior. Also, I love to laugh and joke with my kids and have fun while learning. I want my students to learn and grow in a fun and safe environment while feeling loved.
