I work in an inner-city school with students who are yearning for knowledge. They thoroughly enjoy working on projects and engaging in daily lessons in Math and Science. My students are from an impovished area within the city of Atlanta. They have limited resources, a lack of parental support and performing below grade level. Students are struggling academically in all subject areas, such as Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies. My school is in the process of becoming a STEM certified school to expose students in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. My students are eager to excel and perform well in the area of Math; they are engaged in lessons within the math classroom environment.

About my class
