My students are from all over the city. The school is a K-8 school that services the whole city, so we have students from all economic backgrounds. We are a public school in an urban city with limited resources. We are not a Title One school. Every year the budget is getting cut more and more. This is only my second year teaching, and last year, which was my first year, I learned that we spend a whole lot of our own money on our students, because our students families can not or do not provide the necessary supplies. The school can not provide what we need, again, due to the budget cuts.
