  • Pre-K Super Scientists Ready to Discover!

    We like to thank you for your all the discovery items that you graciously bought for us. The ramp was a perfect addition to our study in Wheels. The children were able to use the various cars and trucks to see what ramp it goes down faster. The conversation of the children as they worked together as a group was really interesting. They were using many descriptive words as the cars went down the ramp. "My car was faster than your truck". " If I make it higher it will make the car move faster". They were comparing the types of roads, and which one works better.

    The magnetic set has so many fun and interesting objects to explore! The children get to use a visual card to follow the activities. They have a lot of different magnets to try out. Many objects that they can use to investigate what is magnetic and what's not magnetic.

    The activities are very engaging, and the children have many opportunities to have meaningful conversations.

    This package was perfect for my Discovery Center!”

  • Kindergartners Need Some Basics!

    My students were so excited when I took out all the amazing new school tools for them to use. The colors of crayons, colored pencils, and markers make drawings more enjoyable for the kids. The students want to create more details when drawing the projects. The children were able to have their own sets of crayons, markers, and colored pencils and be creative for class projects,

    It was so remarkable how each child couldn't believe that these classroom tools were given to them!! They wanted to show their parents the fun things they could create with the new art supplies! It came at a wonderful time where we needed to replenish our school supplies. The children knew that they had to take care of the new art supplies. I had to give them extended time each day so they could use the materials. We made lots of art projects that week!! I had a art activity with every subject area just so the kids could use the material!!

    I love that the materials had a variety of colors. I was able to have the children create a more vibrate drawings and more details. Thank you for supporting my Kindergarten class with more options to create using different materials!”

  • Creative Movement for Kindergarten

    I want to thank you so much for your donation to the arts! I was truly excited when I received all the packages. It felt like Christmas came early! The instruments, bells, scarves, bean bags, and huge parachute! So much to look at and the kids couldn't wait to use these wonderful items!

    I surprised the children with a new object or instrument weekly. We started with the wrist bells. The children were so excited and eager to shake the bells! When we used them to follow the music the children really got into the movement and what kinds of things they could do with the bells. Well the bean bags were a hit with the kids. The CD really had the children involved and wanting to do more with the bean bags! The biggest hit was when I took out the huge parachute!!! I was so big and the children couldn't wait to move to the music, using the parachute. They really thought it was fun to hide under the parachute! The children all were amazed at the activities that could be done using a parachute! I loved the CD, It really had great songs to follow and move with the parachute!

    I can't express enough how these musical instruments and objects have made our Gym and movement class more exciting! The children ask daily "when will we use the scarves?" This means that the children remember and want to use these materials often.”

  • Kindergarteners Can Bloom With An iPad!

    The children in my class were so amazed when we first opened up the boxes! The expressions on their faces was priceless! It was like the excitement of opening a gift on Christmas morning! The children were immediately excited to get the IPad and wanting to get a chance to use it. I was able to download fun and exciting games and websites for the children to use on the IPad. I had to make a schedule in order for each student to get a chance to use it! It's working out well! The children are fascinated with the way it works and how easy it works! They could hardly wait to touch it and try out the games.

    I am enjoying using the IPad when working with small groups. I upload the guided reading book and the children follow as I model reading strategies. Also, I use it as a motivator to practice letters and sounds. It allows the children to practice reading skills on various websites and programs.

    The IPad has been a wonderful tool in my classroom. It is something that I use for whole instruction and small group instruction. Thank you so much for making learning so exciting and interesting for all the students! I really appreciate this valuable tool and what it has done for the children and I.”
