    Funded Aug 27, 2024

Words cannot express how grateful we are for your incredible generosity and support. Your donations have truly transformed our classroom into a peaceful oasis away from the noise and bustle of the city.

  • Excited About English!

    Funded Feb 21, 2024

I have a huge amount of gratitude for funding my entire project! You made my MLL students ecstatic about our new flexible seating options, whiteboards, markers, and various school supplies. In addition, they are thrilled to have this cozy environment to read their new library collection of Word Family readers throughout the day.

The learning doesn't just stop on Fridays. My students eagerly choose learning games from your donation that will support their learning on the weekend with other family members as well. There's nothing like good family quality time!

Thank you for your commitment to education and creating a positive and cozy environment for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Corea

  • Color Me a Rainbow

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Where do I begin? The 6 photos don't do justice to the smiles and joy your donation brought to my Kindergarteners. Besides the traditional crayons, colored pencils, and markers, we were able to create ornaments to go along with our unit and read aloud about Construction Tools. The Kinders had an amazing time creating tools from the text, knowing the job of each, displaying it during holiday Family Night, and becoming experts in their field. In addition, their ornament added a nice touch to bring home. Thank you for bringing the joy of color and creativity to them beyond Art Class.”

    With gratitude,

  • Not Your Traditional Classroom

    Funded Sep 18, 2017

Thank you so much for your donations! Your supplies allowed us to work on many, many, projects! We've enjoyed creating our own BeeBot track in our classroom. This has allowed us to take our programming off a 9x9 grid and onto a self created track which takes us through our Dream School Playground which was designed through a STEM Design Challenge. What fun! Along with our Bee Bot track, we are enjoying our Lego blocks to create various structures connected to our STEM units, and a variety of art supplies to help us recreate fish habitats. Oh, and don't forget those awesome wiggly stools! Never a dull moment thanks to your contribution!

When the boxes arrived I waited to share the opening with the students. It was like Christmas morning in our classroom. Squeals of joy and excitement echoed throughout the classroom. Ideas of what to do with supplies bounced from student to student. Complete joy and elation!

Our next steps are to continue working on Design Challenges in STEM. Our topics include Goldfish and Guppies, Pill Bugs, and recycling. Looking forward to seeing what projects my little engineers and scientists come up with. Luckily, we have the necessary supplies to produce wherever our creativity takes us.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Corea

Students will have an opportunity to create their Design Plan using art and drawing supplies, express their engineering ideas through the use of blocks, and use flexible seating as an option at certain STEM Centers. Designing buildings, bridges, and towers, are only a few examples. Watching students collaborate, problem solve, and create, are only a few skills they can develop and apply to the real world. Introducing students to various STEM experiences will allow them see how the purposeful learning connects to future jobs. This project would significantly help my students understand the Design Process. Please consider funding this project.
