A Printer to Color Our Classroom!
Funded Aug 15, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations to help Color our Classroom! We have been able to create and print so many colorful activities for our students. They are so much more engaged and excited for the games when the games are in bright, beautiful colors.
We have also been able to create and print more useful charts to help them work independently. The charts also serve as visual aids for our students with diverse learning needs.
We have printed many photos for students to add to their information books. Our classroom is such a bright, colorful, happy place thanks to your generosity.”

Funded Jan 29, 2016Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our class. Our new printer has allowed us to create skill specific, engaging activities for our students. Each week we create and introduce a new center that each student will get to use. They always look forward to seeing what new games or activities we will be adding.
Recognizing and counting coins is an extremely difficult skill and concept for many of our students. Having activities to practice coin counting in color is extremely beneficial to them. We have also added word and picture sorts to help students struggling with phonics and spelling. Game boards are much more exciting in color. We have also been able to provide our small groups with more accessible activities because of the copier attached to the printer. We really cannot thank you enough!”

Dry Erase Moveable Easel
Funded Jun 21, 2014We love our new Whiteboard Easel! We use it every single day and for every single subject. We also use it for phonics work, small group work and even as a fun reward system to let students draw on.
This Whiteboard allows me to demonstrate proper writing techniques and gives struggling students a chance to practice on a large writing surface. This is especially helpful for children with fine motor skill issues who have trouble writing with smaller objects like pencils.
The Whiteboard is magnetic so it also gives me a large surface area to hang many shared poems that I have written on chart paper. This allows the struggling readers to practice reading strategies as a group reading the same content. We use pointers and highlighting tape to dissect and study the poem to improve reading skills.
The Whiteboard has also, finally, given me the space I need to deliver Fundations instructions. Fundations is a fantastic phonics program that helps students read and spell. Fundations is a program that comes with a lot of materials. This Whiteboard has given me the space to organize and display all of them.
Thank you so much!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Donato
