  • Let's Get Graphic...Novels!

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

On behalf of our class, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation that brought graphic novels into our classroom library. Your kindness has created a buzz of excitement and a love for reading that's truly inspiring.

The students couldn't wait to dive into these engaging stories, and it's been wonderful to see their enthusiasm grow. They've started buddying up to read together, sharing their favorite parts, and recommending books to one another. Watching their faces light up as they connect with characters and stories has been a reminder of the magic of books.

These graphic novels have not only made reading more accessible for some of our reluctant readers but have also deepened the joy for those who already love to read. You've made a lasting impact on their learning and their lives.

Thank you for believing in our students and for helping foster a love of reading in our classroom. Your generosity has truly made a difference.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cosentino

  • Friendship and Board Games!

    Funded Nov 27, 2023

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from our donors towards our class project. Your contributions have made it possible for our students to connect, work together cheerfully, and once again bask in moments of social interaction. Particularly in the wake of the disruptions caused by COVID to both learning and social growth, this time for bonding is priceless. Your provision of these games has steered our students away from solitary computer activities, nurturing qualities like socialization, sportsmanship, sharing, and respect for each other and their belongings. Your kindness has touched us deeply, and we thank you wholeheartedly.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cosentino

  • Help Color Our World!

    Funded May 26, 2023

Your donation has created a positive impact in our classroom. Students can create projects and see them come to life in color! Because of our high ENL population, students can engage with the curriculum and deepen their understanding of vocabulary with visual supports and enhanced pictures. We can print out colored pictures of high-level concepts and build vocabulary books and pictures to deepen students' understanding. My students are always amazed that people who have never met them are generous and kind enough to donate to our classroom. Thank you for always supporting us!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cosentino

  • Flexible Seating - A Must!

    Funded Aug 13, 2022

We cannot thank you enough for your generosity. It's unreasonable to ask students to sit in one position for long periods. Flexible seating allows students to have autonomy about their body's needs while advocating for themselves. Students love these seating options! They show great respect for the materials in our classroom. Students with high needs are eager to sit on these seats - because they wiggle or wabble, it allows students to fidget while completing their assignments. My students cannot believe that someone who doesn't even know them would be so generous as to donate these items to them and our classroom. Your impact has a lasting effect on my students. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cosentino
