The students in my class come from a very small, all rural school. With the funding cuts and size of our school, we are not given money to spend in our classrooms each year. To further inflate this problem, we have a high poverty rate, which means most students do not come to school with the supplies they need. I purchase the majority of supplies with my own money, but when it comes to more expensive projects, I have to look for help elsewhere!
