• Automotive Students Take on the World

  I would like to thank everyone that took the time to help support the students. My students are always in need of computers to assist in their daily classwork and their homework these computers that you help fund go long way and reaching out to all my students when does just don't last.

  Over the next month I will be using these computers for my students so they can take their ase-certified exams. ASE is recognized by the automotive industry all over the world. Once the students take and pass their exam they will be considered ase-certified this will help them acquire a job upon leaving high School”

• Students Need to Dress for Success

  I would like to thank all the staff at Donors Choose and all the contributors who helped fund my project. My students work hard to gain the skills to enter the workforce as an Automotive entry level technician, now they have the look as well. Your donation was used to dress my students, both in the schools Automotive Shop, but also at the student's job sites. My students are so proud to show off their new shirts, and with the help of another sponsor, my students were able to have their names and companies they work at info screen on them.

• Inner City Automotive Students Take On The Industry

  May I first say please forgive me in being so late with this. As you know my students must take and pass there A.S.E. exams to get full credit for there studies. These test are only giving twice a year and they are only On line. Because of this the only way my students can practice is to have access to computers and unfortunly many students don't have computers. But with your help and donnorschoose my students not only can take practice exams in the classroom I allow my students to take these laptops home and practice. All I can say is that compared to the fall testing window my students grade has gone up almost 22%. I hope to raise that with acquiring more of these mini net books. • ELMO Joins the Automotive Field

  As a new teacher (less than 3 years) all I can say is thank you very much. As you can assume funds are very limited, and starting a new program resources are even more limited. So to be able to flash on my board a tool/part so the whole class can see it makes my job so much easier which means more students can participate in class. Everybody that help fund this product will always be in my thoughts, and I can ensure you, in my students thoughts. Thank you again you just help my students become better mechanics”

• Lets Play Jeopardy

  I would like to thank you. As you know money is so hard to come by. My school's budget was lowered this year so we have to find other people like yourselves to help.
