WOW! My students and I are so excited that you have agreed to purchase owl pellets for us to dissect. October is the perfect month for studying nocturnal animals! The owl pellets are going to be an excellent hands-on opportunity for my students. I want to say thank you even though the words don't seem sufficient”

I knew an old owl that swallowed a ______; I don't know why it swallowed a ______. Many students do not know what owls eat or why. My class of 23 second graders will when given the opportunity to dissect owl pellets. Over 90% of the students at my school come from low-income households. The demographics include 40% Hispanic, 38% African American, 15% Caucasian, and 7% other.
