  • Our First Graders Writing is Out of this World!

    Funded May 15, 2024

    We are loving our new Spacemen spacing tools! We have seen a direct impact with this donation. Students are excited to use their spacemen to increase their foundational writing skills.

    Teachers have created Writing tool kits, providing students with a variety of tools to use as they learn the basics of writing sentences and paragraphs.

    Each student that uses their spaceman is eager to show off their work as their work is now more legible and clear, making reading their own work and sharing it with their peers easier.”

    Thank you for your generous gift! These new pens and pencils were a great refresh for our students! Something as simple as a colored pen and a fancy pencil encouraged our students to engage in writing lessons. It may seem like something small, but for our students, knowing that someone took the time out to provide them with fun materials, is more impactful than can be put into words.

    We look forward to seeing how else our students can use these materials to make their writing shine! We can see already that students are working harder, writing more and are more eager to show off their writing skills!

  • Ladybugs Invade the Second Grade!

    Thank you for bringing the wonders of the life cycle into the classroom! Our students were in awe of how the ladybugs we see outside start out as an even smaller tiny larvae! Our students are asking questions now, engaging in research projects to explore the life cycle of other animals and are eager to continue learning! We will be releasing our lady bugs in a few short days!

    In addition this has given our teachers an experience to further build connections with their students as they are bringing their own love of Science and nature into daily conversations as we study our ladybugs!
