These books will provide reading for pleasure book club opportunities for students who don't otherwise have access to books. Reading for pleasure and sharing books is critical for social-emotional learning. Project LIT book club at Goodlettsville Middle is a monthly club where students meet to discuss books, play trivia, and pick new selections. In between club meetings they are active on the shared library platform. Curbside delivery of multiple copies of the same book makes reading physical books possible. Students who did not previously consider themselves readers devour books that represent who they are and how they see the world.
