We did it! The aquarium supplies were funded and the students will get to enjoy having an active ecosystem in the classroom every day! Students are already involved in testing water parameters and feeding daily. At our Title 1 school 96% of the population qualifies for free or reduced priced lunch. We are a small community public school that is vastly improving after a history of being known as one of the "bad schools". The majority of our students are not used to high expectations and opportunities, but we are working very hard to change that.
