Earth Day Hooray! (and More)
Funded Mar 26, 2025My students will absolutely love the sensory bin/station filler items, candy for incentives, and Earth Day items that we will receive from this project! The fillers will make our stations more interesting and are themed to go with some of our units of study. Candy is always a hit and I give it for completing homework, good behavior, and awesome schoolwork.
The Earth Day beach balls and keychains will help the whole grade level celebrate Earth Day!”

Funded Mar 25, 2025Now we know our ABCs...and we will even more with these A, B, and C items. The magnet sets are going to be a welcome addition to our STEM bins, where students get creative and work on social skills like reasoning and sharing. The bubble timers will also help us with social-emotional regulation.
The pencil sharpeners are going to help us stay on point, through the end of the year. The camera is what I'm most excited about...they are going to love the ownership and pride of taking their own pictures!”

Funded Mar 25, 2025This is one of my favorite projects! I know my students are going to love the two activities the items will support! Our numbered egg hunt will be so much fun, with the variety of different eggs (some candy, but some more fun like the Play-Doh and Kinetic Sand eggs). I can't wait to see their faces and take some pictures to share.
The sashes and graduation crowns/hats will also make our kindergarten graduation ceremony special for the whole grade level. I used similar sashes last year at my old school and the students and families loved it!

Funded Jul 28, 2024This project included so many wonderful things that have enhanced our classroom experience this year! The printer has been so helpful, printing both black and white papers and color items that can be laminated, such as the ones in the picture displayed on our Sound Wall. The mini fridge is also great for keeping many items, including a small ice pack for minor 'boo boos' that don't need the nurse's intervention.
The snacks, including Goldfish and cookies have been fun incentives, as well as whole class rewards that everyone enjoys.
The air fresheners, vacuum, and insect spray have helped keep our classroom looking and smelling good! Thank you for all of these things and the rest, that have all been beneficial to our learning, enjoyment, and comfort this year!”

It Pays to Do the Right Things
Funded Mar 25, 2024My students loved all of the fun items from this project. The Play-Doh eggs were a huge hit in the prize box, as students already had one from their numbered egg hunt. Now they got to choose another color of their choice, as an incentive for good behavior or awesome academics. The 'hair man' spring launchers were part of an end of year goody bag that students received at the end of last school year. The light up spinner rings were also enjoyed very much.

This, That, and Those

The fan will help our classroom regulate the temperature a little better. Help Us Celebrate Lunar New Year!
Funded Jan 1, 2025Lunar New Year was a big hit in my kindergarten classroom again this year! Students loved the stuffed snakes as classroom decor, jointed toy snakes, and hanging snake charms as we celebrated the year of the snake. The Hi-Chew candy was also fun. Many students had never had it before. They also tried the Lucky Candy and coconut candy. The books helped us understand another cultural celebration from around the world.
We are also loving the large variety of snacks for the classroom. They are being used during our daily snack time each day after specials, for those that don't have a snack from home. Thank you for enriching our classroom in so many ways.”

Funded Mar 19, 2024My students loved their spring activities last year! They had a fabulous egg hunt with the clear cartons, finding eggs numbered 1-10 to fill them. One special egg was even one of the Play-Doh eggs!
We also learned about plants by planting seeds in the smiley face and turtle planters and placing them under grow lights. The Aerogarden was also fun, growing some bountiful and colorful petunias! At first they were small green sprouts, but over time they blossomed into many pink and purple flowers. It was all a lot of fun.

Bins and Wins

Getting 'Write' to It
Funded Mar 16, 2024My students love the golf pencils we have been using! They are perfect for kindergarten fingers, which are not fully developed. The motivational pencils were a big hit and I also shared some with my former students to encourage them before the state STAAR tests.
Crayons are used daily in our kindergarten classroom. It was wonderful to be able to provide for every student at the beginning of the year, if they didn't bring their own crayons. I was also able to replace everyone's crayons as a surprise for their return after winter break.
The markers are used as we do Shared Writing, add to anchor charts, in some stations, and for free draw during indoor recess.
