  • A Place for Everyone!

    Funded Oct 5, 2023

Thank you so much!! The kids are so excited about their new rug to learn and play on. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and provides us with a better learning environment to help us be cozy and organized. It truly does take a village to give your children the best possible environment for learning!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morrison

  • Catch Up, Keep Up, Take Off!

    Funded Oct 3, 2021

Thank you for donating to my classroom so my kindergartners can have the tools that will help build a foundation for learning.

Meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of these young learners, especially in this pandemic, is a challenge, but thanks to your generosity, we’re on our way to success!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morrison

  • Today a Creator, Tomorrow a Leader

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

Thank you so much for your selfless generosity in helping our classroom create a creative maker space where we can think way outside the box. In first grade, we love to plan, test, and create without limits.

Our new Tinkering Toolbox is filled with fun and open-ended materials that allow us to make unique creations. Some of the items are things we are familiar with, but others are less so. We especially liked the different sized tubes and styrofoam pieces.

Recently, we used some of the materials to create leprechaun traps! With all of the options, our traps were unique and fun. We're bound to catch a leprechaun now!”

  • Flippin' for Math

    Funded Jan 11, 2020

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. My students will be thrilled with their new math Versatiles and I'll be thrilled with the great practice they are getting to build their understanding. Title 1 schools like mine serve children who do not have many opportunities at home and they often begin school far behind. Your help with my project will help them catch up!”

  • Boing! Boing! For Better Brains

    Funded May 10, 2018

Thank you for your generous donation to our 1st grade classroom that allowed us to receive the exercise balls. We enjoy having the flexibility to choose where we want to work, especially when we need to wiggle a little!

I find my students more focused and attentive when they can wiggle a little during lessons and work time. Young learners get easily fatigued sitting for long periods. I try to allow opportunities to get up and move around but these balls allow scholars to move even when they need to be sitting.

It is only with the generous contributions of donors like you that we are able to have these materials.”

  • Literacy Jumpstart

    Funded Dec 13, 2019

Thank you so very much for your generosity towards my classroom and young scholars. I can't believe how quickly this was funded and I know how excited my class will be to get this new literacy tool in our room. Having a variety of learning materials allows all children to be successful at their level, and in the ways they learn best. Thank you for being a part of our journey!”

  • Wiggly Bodies, Focused Minds

    Funded May 10, 2018

We LOVE our wobble stools and use them all the time. It takes a little practice to balance, but once we got the hang of it, we love having the freedom to use different types of seating. Our class is very active, with two boys for every girl, and these wobble stools especially help us get the wiggles out while still being able to focus on learning.

Just as people do in real life, we can now have more choices in where and how we learn in the classroom. Thank you for helping us make our classroom feel more comfortable and special!”

    Funded Sep 13, 2018

Wow! Thank you so much for your generosity! I can’t wait to share these resources with my students to help them learn about money, budgeting, and saving. It is such a valuable skill. They will be so excited to have these items in our classroom to enhance our math lessons. Thank you again!”

I teach 2nd grade in a Title 1 urban school. My students are at the beginning their school journeys. Nothing is more exciting than watching the growth they experience over the year but it is also a big responsibility to find ways to engage and motivate them to do their best learning. If they see themselves as learners now, it sets the foundation for a lifetime.
