This is my first year teaching second grade. I am transitioning from 11 years teaching a sub-separate special needs classroom. I am very excited to use my experiences and also learn new methods as I embark on this journey. Our school is an inner city school and many students also have a lack of basic needs being met every day. They not only come to school to learn academics, but also for a sense of comfort, compassion and love. It is my desire that MY students get all of the above, and more.
