Creating an Enchanting Library

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I am so excited to receive the books for my classroom. I feel that the books will not only help the students become better reader, but lay a foundation for a love of reading.
The books are coming at the perfect time. The students are studying animals and the non-fiction books will help them with the research. They are fascinated with the different ways animals live, act, and look.
I will post pictures for you to see how the books impacted our classroom. I am looking forward to share these books with my students.

My students are very energetic and inquisitive. Most of them are continuously asking questions of why or trying to make connections with previous work. We are working on how the illustrations are connected with the works in the story. The connection between the illustration and the words help us to understand the story. So not only do we read the works, we discuss what the pictures show to make sure that they match.
