Our school has recently gone global, which means that now, more than ever, we are embracing differences in culture. For my ELL students, however, those differences also mean difficulty understanding English vocabulary. Redistricting means that we have welcomed more ELL students into our school, and we need to find ways to add instructional minutes for these children. My ELL students are eager to learn and want desperately to make their parents proud. They need extra support to do that.
