In today's classrooms students need hands-on experiences to help solidify the knowledge that they are presented with daily. The school that I teach at is stricken with poverty and must accommodate the diverse needs of students (ESOL, special education,etc). All of the students that I encounter want to succeed, they just do not know how to succeed.
