My students are in state custody, trying to get treatment from the traumatic experiences they've undergone in their lives at such a young age. They are vibrant, beautiful, intelligent young girls that just need resources and someone to believe in them. Our school classroom is located in the girls' group home and so we don't have access to most anything a regular school has such as a library, gym, computer lab, and just basic classroom resources.
