My students are motivated and ready to learn. Many of my students don't have books at home or opportunities to practice reading strategies outside of school. My school does a great job meeting the emotional and social needs of its students, but we need more educational resources to meet their academic needs effectively. Our school has experienced budget cuts in the past couple of years and it makes it difficult to maintain our current resources and purchase new materials. Our students are excited to come to school and have a love of learning and growing. Every child should have the opportunity to have the best education possible, and the teachers do their best to make each day fun and educational for each child.
