The materials included in this project will not only help my students to learn necessary life skills, but also help me to create appropriate manipulatives and work tasks to meet their very unique and individual needs.”

These materials will make a difference in our student's learning because it will provide them with the hands on experience they need to learn specific skills. They will be able to actually brush their teeth, fold and sort laundry, sweep and vacuum IN SCHOOL. Imagine how happy a parent would be when their 10 year old finally brushes his or her teeth without a battle? By donating to this project you will not only be improving their school lives but also their overall quality of live. Our students need so much assistance in so many areas, you'd be helping to achieve the most basic skills we take for granted. Unfortunately, Life Skills is not even recognized as a mandated subject for our students. Subjects like Science and Art are but not Life Skills. This makes funding and supplies for this much needed subject even more limited
