I teach 9th-12th grade English classes to students in a rural county in Georgia. This is a high-poverty district, but the kids are, for the most part, really great students. We have some who live in government subsidized homes, and others who come to class tired because "six of our cows got out last night and it took 'til four in the morning to track them down." It makes for an interesting social mix. Everyone gets along!
