  • Staying Organized

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

My students were so excited to receive a gift. When the box arrived I wrapped it up in wrapping paper and told the students they had received a gift. When they opened the box and I explained how to use the seat pockets they were so excited. They were finally going to have a place to store their belongings. The seat pockets have allowed them to stay organized.

They now take care of their belongings. When it is time to clean up they carefully put their items away in the seat pockets.

Thank You so much for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

  • Book Worm

    Funded Jun 21, 2022

Thank You so much for your donations. My little ones love to learn about different community workers and these books were so helpful. They are able to see all the different uniforms and tools that the different community workers use.

Although, they can't read on their own yet they enjoy looking at the illustrations and coming up with their own story. These books go hand in hand with our dramatic play center because they are also able to dress up as the community workers they see in the books.”

  • Creativity with Cricut

    Funded Sep 24, 2021

The Cricut machine you helped donate is amazing. The students were excited and curious when they received the machine. They were amazed at all the things they can create with the machine. They were able to create a t-shirt for kindness week and another for the 100th day of school. They helped design our classroom door for kindness week. Thanks so much for your generous contributions. It is individuals like you that make things possible in the classroom.

Now my creative thinkers have endless things they can create!”

  • Print to Learn

    Funded Mar 10, 2021

We are grateful for your generous contributions. With your help I was able to create folders for each student filled with resources for math , reading, and writing. Students use these folders for their daily class and homework assignments. Having a printer has made it easier for me to create the new material, print it and then deliver it to my students.

These supplemental resources have enhanced their learning. I was able to print visual resources, worksheets, projects and printable stories. Once again thank you for helping my students become better learners.”

  • Art Through Zoom

    Funded Feb 3, 2021

Your generous contribution has allowed my students to be artists. The materials were received during our school closure so I had to hand-deliver the items to the student's home. I placed the bag with materials on their porch and walked away. When they came outside and saw the bag their face just lit up. They had never seen so many art supplies at one time. We have used all the art resources to create some beautiful pieces of art. We have used oil pastels to create art where the students learned about warm and cool colors. We used construction paper to create a mosaic.

Once again thanks for making my students artist.”

    Ms. Davis

  • Tech for Teacher

    Funded Sep 17, 2020

Thank you so much for your contribution. Your donation has allowed me to be a more efficient teacher. Trying to teach from home on a laptop was difficult. Now that I have a desktop with a large screen I have them lower their Chromebook cameras so I can see them working. The desktop screen allows me to see all their work clearly and offer help as needed. It lets me reach the students that need additional help. It also has allowed me to be more efficient in creating google slides and documents to make learning interesting and engaging for my students.

Once again thank you for your generosity and for helping me be a more efficient teacher.”

  • Investigating The World Through Global Studies

    Funded Feb 12, 2014

My students and I thank you for donating to our project . My students were really excited when they received the box with the 6 kindles.

The kindles have allowed my students to learn about the world and expand their perspectives. With technology being such an integral skill that students need the kindles allowed my students to research. This donation allowed my students to have technology at their fingertips. Whenever they needed to reference something they had the kindles nearby. Thank you for helping our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davis

  • Show Me Don't Tell Me

    Funded Jan 31, 2012

Dear Donors,I am so grateful for your donations to help fund my project.

The document reader has enhanced my teaching and the students learning. My teaching has come alive because I can take any worksheet and have an interactive lesson with the students on the carpet.

Students are also able to share their writing with their peers which allows for their peers to critique their writing. Read-Alouds come alive when the book I'm reading is projected on the whiteboard.

Thanks for eliminating the cries of "Teacher, I can't see!"”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davis

My students are racially and ethnically diverse students attend a Title I public school, and several of them are English learners. Most of them are from an economically disadvantaged background and participate in the free lunch program at school. Every school year, I spend a lot of my own money buying them extra learning materials that my school cannot purchase.
