I teach special education in a small group setting. The disabilities range from autism, learning, behavioral, and attention. Subsequently, they are holding concentration for limited periods of time. All of my students have difficulty comprehending grade level standards. The need for multimodal teaching is an authentic dilemma for this population. My job is to bring the curriculum to them, at the appropriate level, while ensuring they all have every opportunity possible to access the lesson regardless of their disability.

About my class
