Did Someone Say..Snack Time?
Funded Dec 2, 2023Thank you so much for the snacks and water. Students enjoyed a snack everyday and even got to take a snack home. Many of our students are on a fixed income and are not able to enjoy additional fun snacks. Their faces lite up when they enjoyed a snack everyday.
The water was also important to keep students hydrated during the day. Students were also able to fill the reusable water bottle before they went home so they had fresh, clean water. After having these treats, it made learning a bit more easier. Students were also given snacks to enjoy while completing their work.”

Sweets Make Learning Better!
Funded Dec 30, 2022The students are enjoying the sweet treats and prizes while hard in school. These treats have increased student motivation because students are able to pick from a variety of prizes. When the students saw the prizes that were donated they were so eager to come to school and try their very best. The students loved the fidgets and the mini building sets.
The students also enjoyed the goldfish and sour patch kids while they were working on class work. It really makes school work easier.”

Let's Get This School Year Started Off Right!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Your amazing donation allowed my students to get the school year off right. Students were so happy to see all the new supplies that they use everyday. It was so nice for them to have a lot of supplies to use throughout the year.
The notebooks we use everyday for reading, writing and math. Students also were eager for the pop it bracelets and of course the lollipops. We just finished up the container last week. Students also enjoy time in the chair to read a good book.
These supplies started the year off right for many of my students who struggle with getting all the things they need for school. They also were able to work hard and get a sweet treat in the end.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022"Life is absolutely better with ART." My students had an amazing time using all the materials in this project to paint a winter snowman for their families to hang in their homes over the holidays. Our paint project was rewarded to students who have been trying their very best in school. Our project took several days where we followed an online instructor to paint our snowman.
When I first told my students that art supplies were donated they were extremely excited. I explained to them the whole process and a they were overwhelmed by your kindness and could not wait to paint. We plan on painting much more often now.
Students felt like real professions when they were painting. Our next project will be making cards for the local community centers. We plan to use our supplies that you donated. We also will have a larger project for spring time, when we learn to paint different flowers.”

Funded Oct 8, 2021The resources donated have been used all school year long. We have used them daily to complete every day tasks during our ENL phonics and shared reading activities. The supplies helped students to organize their work and also highlight key words during their daily reading practice. Our students have also used the projects to create kindness cards or traditional birthday cards for peers and teachers.
Teachers and students love receiving new supplies. The students gasped when they saw the brand new supplies and couldn't wait to use all the resources. Our English language learners used the expo markers to practice writing new vocabulary words. Every day our students were able to choose a sticker, which put a great big smile on their face.
All supplies will continued to be used for the rest of the year and students will be able to use these supplies when practicing at home over the summer.”
