The goal is to teach geometry through the lens of geometric constructions. This requires equal access to precision instruments such as compasses, rulers and patty paper. Students will be able to let their creative juices flow using the art supplies requested for this project. Many students will use these supplies at school, but some may request to borrow some for use at home as well. While rural living has its benefits, convenience isn't one of them. Many of my students do not have the means or access to quality supplies, and the funding of the project will help all my students to have equal access.
