  • Terrific Technology!

    Thank you so much for your kind contributions. The iPad mini that your donation helped purchase has revolutionized my classroom! On the day the package arrived, my math class was thrilled. That very week, we were able to link it to our interactive whiteboard, and my scholars love getting picked to "control" the whiteboard from their desks! They also love using the iPad in small groups to play math games to review skills. My Saturday School groups have so much fun working on their math facts virtually!

    On a weekly basis, there is an iPad center using Socrative or other educational app and my students get to take turns completing their math work in a fun and engaging way! Not only do they love working on the iPad, but it's also helping them practice for the upcoming technology based testing, such as the Smarter Balance test.

    I hope you can continue helping out classrooms! Your contribution has changed the lives of at least 70 kids, making math fun for them and turning their time in my class from a boring (in their eyes!) to exciting experience.”

  • Class Would Love to Utilize Smartboard

    Thank you so much for the contribution to my classroom. Now that I have an LCD projector, my lessons have become much more engaging and interesting. Integrating technology into my room has done wonders for my science and math classes. Now, my kids are much more motivated to learn, and I am able to differentiate lessons in more vast and helpful way. We can play review games, watch documentaries, conduct experiments, take notes from power point presentations, and see first hand visuals and videos. It has made my units more fascinating and really unlocked my kids' thirst for learning, especially in the area of science. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping my students.”
