Help me round up some new audio books. Why? Audio books motivate students to read printed books! Sadly, my students' access to this very important resource is extremely limited. I am an elementary librarian in a high-poverty district. Most of my students never encounter audio books outside of school. Forty-one percent of our kids receive free breakfast and/or lunch assistance. Family budgets only for the basic necessities. The Library Media Center is the primary access point to both print and audio books.
