I plan on using these disc golf sets during my P.E. class to teach about a fun, socially distanced activity that they can participate in for a lifetime. These discs will belong to the students and will go home with the students at the end of the year. There are multiple courses in our area that students can access and hopefully, they will be able to have their parents or guardians get involved as well. There are multiple lessons that can be taught about wind resistance, force, angles, momentum, etc... and we will be able to do cross-curriculum teaching with science and math. We have started by using my personal disc and most of my students are excited about learning about disc golf and ask about it every day. I hope that my students will be able to use this information and skills to be driven to discover more about disc-golf and other activties that encourage physical activity and learning.
