  • Printing Brings Our Projects to Life!!

    Funded Mar 24, 2020

Thank you for your kindness and gifting our class with enough ink to last for the entire year. We feel so fortunate to have people who care about our class community. Throughout the year, we have depended on our resources to bring our work to life. Whether we are working at home or in school we communicate our ideas through our work. We are able to print our work at home or print it in the class to display proudly to family, friends or peers. Over the years, our favorite supporters have been through Donor's Choose and we love having such amazing people support our learning and educational needs. Again, thank you for being wonderful.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Codrington

  • Laptop for Learning!

    Funded Mar 24, 2020

We want to thank you so much for your generosity. I can't begin to tell you what it means to these kids to have information at their fingertips! They are sweet, hard-working, highly intelligent kids who sometimes just need a little boost, and you are all part of that for them. Again, thank you so much for thinking about us.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Codrington

  • Ready, Set, Print!

    Funded Aug 24, 2019

Thank you for the wonderful gift of the printer, it makes life so much easier for the class. The students are so excited to imagine, create and print their work as well as display them for the entire school community to see. Upon receiving the printer, the students could not contain their excitement. As i described to them the process of printing. all eyes were on me because they wanted to make sure they would be able to correctly print out their work . You gift is more than a printer, it is like a extended part of our classroom. Again, thank you for your kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Codrington

  • Can't Wait to Show Our Creative and Artistic Side!

    Funded Aug 13, 2018

My class really appreciates all of the supplies that you donated. We have used the pastels colors to make beautiful artwork with vibrant and eye grabbing colors for our social studies bulletin board. While studying the Ice Age, the children were able to illustrate pictures and write captions with information they learned about. The children love using them and look forward to using them for the next art project.

When the art supplies arrived, the children were so excited and appreciative to the people who donated. They believed that people care about them and their education. With a sense of pride, the students took responsibility for their new supplies, labeled them and stored them away in the cabinet. As part of their ongoing responsibilities, student constantly replenish their table baskets with supplies from the cabinets.

Our next steps for our next classroom project is already in the works. The students are working on a science project by creating foldables that display the distances of several different planets from the sun. These rewarding experiences and fun activities are highlighted by the use of our new materials. Our donors have made a huge difference in the way we learn, discover and experience 5th grade. Thank for making a difference.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Codrington

The products that I have selected will assist my students with making projects that will visually support their learning. My students will be able to create diagrams, foldables, and art projects for every subject. Using the construction paper, glue sticks and markers will enhance any project they design. My students love to produce colorful artwork which they will be able to observe during a classroom art gallery activity. Small artwork will be used in their journals as interactive notes. The larger projects will be displayed on bulletin boards for our school community to admire and inspire them to create their own works of art.
