The snacks purchased for this project will help students focus during the long school day. Most students wake up and eat an early breakfast before the start of school (8:30). So by 10:30, kids need time for a nice break during their morning recess. This is a time for students to play and eat a healthy snack before they have go back to the grind of learning! For students who don't bring snack end up asking their classmates for their snacks, which sometimes leads to conflict and hurt feelings. But, with snacks being provided for, kids could focus on eating and being energized for school without worrying about the added stress of having no snacks. Happy satisfied kids will then be ready to come back to the classroom to learn! Kids will feel cared for by their teacher not only intellectually but also physically and mentally!
