Unlock the World of Reading
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations of decodable books. This materials have been wonderful practice for decoding skills and have given children the resources they need to apply the skills they have learned during our phonics lessons. The use of decodable books has helped students to gain the confidence necessary to feel like successful readers. It is also wonderful that the books are leveled by letters introduced during lessons which ensures that students aren't frustrated or discouraged by books which include sounds they haven't been taught.
In our classroom this year students are very eager to read. Some students use the decodable books with partners. We also use the materials in centers and small group instruction. Students now feel confident enough as readers to just grab the books and go to a cozy corner and practice their reading. The amount of engagement and reading confidence I have seen since we received these materials is amazing.
Your donation is very much appreciated. You have helped to unlock the world of reading for many students this year and in many years to come. Thank you so much.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations. The children are really enjoying the products and I have seen so much growth and engagement in their reading. The students really love to go to their reading centers and play "games" and feel so proud when they are successful at reading new words using the tools you have so generously provided. One of their favorite activities is the letter sound pop-its and they have made so much growth in identifying letter sounds and phonemes using this tool.
The students were so excited and thankful when they first saw the materials. They couldn't wait to use them and it is their favorite part of reading centers. These materials make them feel successful and make learning to read so much more fun.
Here is a little peak of the way the children have used some of your generous donations. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts. These resources will help to unlock the world of reading for many years to come.”
