Welcome to my school - we are located in the heart of the Bronx, New York City. I am truly blessed to be here because I feel that this population benefits tremendously from experiencing Art. I have been told by students that one of the main reasons they come to school is to continue working on their projects in the studio setting which is a relaxing and nurturing environment. My principal is very supportive of the Art program we have created but due to restraints on budgeting, there are moments where I wish I had more supplies for the students. This is why I am here on DonorsChoose. My students are vibrant and eager to learn. They deserve to experience different mediums which can result in creative expressions, helping to build confidence. Watching them work on pieces each day is what keeps me going (after 23 years). I hope you can help give my students all they need in the classroom. It is very much appreciated!
