Flexible Seating #1
Funded Jul 10, 2019Thank you so much for our flexible seating table and floor seats. The class absolutely loves them! The kids love collaborating there and working there. We use it for stations, writing, reading, math... basically all day! We love how it's transformed our space and the parents were so impressed with all of the learning "nooks" our room has to offer. I'm definitely looking to add more flexible seating to the room and your donation started it all! We are incredibly grateful. Your generosity and thoughtfulness is truly appreciated.”

Funded Sep 2, 2019Thank you for our wonderful cozy work area. The kids enjoy meeting there so much. The space is homey, but still functional in the classroom. The kids often collaborate there, but they also enjoy getting some alone time there as well. The students in my class couldn't believe that people in the world were kind enough to donate such an amazing gift. On parent teacher conference night many parents commented that the room felt so cozy, and how they'd love to be in our class if they were young again! That melted my heart! Thank you for thinking of us. Your generosity means everything.”

Funded Aug 12, 2019Thank you so much for our class buddy benches. The students use them everyday and love working on them. When we are in whole group, we work and sit on them in the meeting area. We also use them for partner work and small group work. Many of the students like to leave their desk to complete their work on a buddy bench. I think the students enjoy having a different workspace to go to. It makes my heart happy when my kids ask to go sit with a partner and collaborate on their work. Your thoughtful donation is so appreciated! Thank you so much!”

Funded Mar 30, 2017I apologize for not responding sooner. I left my old school and when I left I gave the supplies to the teachers that had the same printer because I could not leave with the supplies. The students at my old school were very grateful. Your generosity is amazing to the kids of NYC. Printer ink is very hard to come by at many of our schools so I know that the teachers I gave the materials to used it wisely. They told me they were able to print persuasive writing pieces that the kids typed up in computer class. Our students are amazing investments and your generosity shows you want to invest in their futures.”

Funded Apr 8, 2008Thank you so very much for funding the books for my library. I have many students that do not read at a third grade level and these books will give them more reading options. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed while they look for books. Many days the students that don't have books on their level have to borrow from the lower grade and they get embarrassed. Now they won't have to do that. Thank you so much!!!! We really do truly appreciate your generosity and the kids benefit from your donation.
Sincerely,

Book Basket Blues
Funded Nov 9, 2007Than you so much for purchasing books for our book baskets. I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. I will be sending photos and thank-you notes soon as a start, but the real gift is what the children will learn from the books you have given them. Thank you for helping us sing a new tune and ridding us of the book basket blues.

Chart Stand and More!
Funded Nov 5, 2007Thank you so much for purchasing the chart stand for our classroom. You truly are showing today's youth that people can do genuine and generous acts for other people, which is a gift in itself. You are adding a resource to our classroom that will truly help my students and myself organize the room. Please know that your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for thinking of us.

Books that "POP"
Funded Sep 18, 2007Thank you so much for funding "Books that Pop." My students have always appreciated my interest in them and how I like supplying them with reading material that they love. Saying thank you for your donation is not nearly enough to express how grateful I am and how appreciative my students will be. Reading is such a huge part of my classroom and your donation will really benefit my kids. There are never enough books for our children and having books they want to read only sweetens the gift you are giving them. Your generosity is going to benefit my students this year and many years to come”

What Reading Level Am I?
Funded Mar 20, 2007Thank you so much for donating the Rigby reading kit to my class. I can't thank you enough for your generous contribution to my kid's education. It's because of people like you that our kids get the proper resources they need to get a better, more equipped education. My student's will be so excited to hear we don't have to wait to find out if they have moved up a level anymore because we will have a kit in our room. Thank you so much again and I will be sending letter from my kids soon.

Small Group Learning Table
Funded Oct 25, 2006I can't begin to thank you enough for your generous contribution to my students, myself, and my school. Meeting with my students in small groups is one of the most productive methods of teaching. They get the attention they need and deserve. Thank you for helping our kids enjoy learning just a bit more. Again many thanks and believe me my students will thank you greatly.
