I work at Highland High School, a public school that is part of the Salt Lake City School District. My students receive special education services but for the most part take classes with their non-disabled peers. My classroom is home base for these students and I am able to support them in math, reading, and executive functioning when they are with me. My dream classroom is one with flexible seating, lots of books, and engaged students.
