I have a classroom of 25 amazing 1st grade students, all with diverse learning styles. We are a Title I school with many at-risk children. The students come from many different backgrounds which makes us a very multicultural setting. Our elementary school goes from Pre-K through 5th grade and houses about 700 students. My students need science stations, puzzles and games such as alphabet dough stampers and sight-word talking boards to help build words and sentences in literacy centers, and a dress-up trunk to enhance their social development.
