In our classroom, you can see students occupying all areas of the classroom to explore and learn. Some students may be listening to a book on tape, while other students are making their spelling lists out of magnetic letters or shaving cream. In another corner of the room, someone might be writing away in their journals about something exciting in their life. Math vocabulary and tools are easily visible. Manipulatives are readily accessible for learning across the curriculum. The best part about each day is coming together at the beginning and end of each day to greet each other by saying hello and good bye in many different languages.
