My kids visit me in our school library once a week with their class - or as many times as they want to check out books. Our library is a fun, inviting place to be. I want them to know they can escape to the library for a change of pace, or get a book and go to a different place. Students have recently said, "I'm so excited! I love to read!" "I want to give you props for your library, Mrs. P. It's nice and quiet." (Well, not all the time - and that's okay.) "Ooh, we have you today. I'm so glad!" Our school is a family, and families take care of each other. Go Dragons!
