Prisms Please!
Funded Feb 10, 2012Thank you so much for your donation to our Prisms Please! project. Since receiving the prisms, my students have gained an incredible amount of knowledge about light. Since the topic of light is in their science standards for the state of Florida, these materials were critical in meeting these standards.
The students had a blast using the prisms to view all of the colors that are found in light. The sounds of "ohh" and "ahh" filled the room as tiny hands used these materials to deepen their understanding of light. I can't wait to use these materials to help another group of students understand the concept of light next year!
Without donations such as yours, many classrooms would go without. My students and I will be forever grateful for your generosity and support of education.
You never know, you could have sparked the interest of a future scientist! Thanks again for your support. ”

Ms. Russell
Technology Time!
Funded Mar 27, 2010Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. The materials that you have helped purchase are an incredibly valuable technological resource. These materials help cover many of our state science standards. This technology has helped heighten interest of these science topics. Students have been using these discs with our interactive white board which has been so fun for them. They have also had the opportunity to use these tools on their own student stations. They love manipulating the computer program to help them learn more about science.
Thanks again for contributing to the science success for my students.
Sincerest Thanks,

Help Us Learn About Our World!!
Funded Feb 11, 2010Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. Your donation funded the purchase of over 100 social studies books and a social studies quiz game for my students. As the materials entered our classroom, there was a quiet "buzz" amongst the students about the new social studies books and supplies. Students who have never shown much interest in reading, were asking how quickly they read the new books which included biographies about many famous Americans and information about our amazing country. Today, we played the Social Studies game show and boy was it a hit! Every student was fully engaged and eager to answer the questions. After we finished the game, "When can we play this again?" was a question that I heard dozens of times.
I wish you could see the renewed energy and enthusiasm that you have helped bring to our classroom. Without donors like you, many classrooms would be lacking the essential materials and resources for students to learn. We promise to take care of, and use these materials to the fullest extent. Thank you again for your generosity and interest in supporting education in America. We truly appreciate your donation.”

Funded Jun 2, 2008Wow! Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of my classroom needs. Thanks to you, the proposal was posted and fulfilled in less than a day. Amazing!
This year I taught 2nd grade and next year I will teach my same students in 3rd grade. I can't wait to start the school in August with a library full of science books. I can't imagine the reaction of my students when I tell them about the books that you have gifted them.
Your donation will serve these students and many more students in the years to come.
Sincerely,
