Thank you so much for funding my project. I truly appreciate it especially because science materials are so expensive.
These animal kits have truly helped my students understand the concepts that they are learning.
Being able to touch, feel, and manipulate the bones of a bird or feeling the how soft a feather can be brings the concepts to life. It creates an understanding of very abstract concepts.
Many of these kiddos have been able to experience these types of activities because of their socioeconomic status.”

Thank you for buying the variety of balls for my students. The variety of sizes and types have been very helpful to use for a variety of activities and games.
Right now, we are practicing bouncing and catching. The small sized balls have been perfect for this lesson.
The bright colors help the littles keep their eyes on the ball and the size is perfect for them to catch. The size definitely makes it easier.
Your thoughtfulness helped my kiddos experience structured activities as well as free play outdoors.
They will be used for many years to come.”

My students have truly benefitted from your generosity. They have truly enjoyed the Legos, all the kits, since the beginning of this school year.
It has truly been a game changer for the students that have difficulty adjusting to the new school environment, especially those that have never attended schools.
The Legos have provided a safe place for them to make new friends and bond. This center has also helped them create, problem solve and providing many opportunities for language development.”

The littles are truly loving having enough sand to make their creations!
They love making ice cream cones for each other and seeing how the cones actually stay together.
Something as simple as sand has created much excitement in our classroom. All of the littles are looking forward to going to the sand center and exploring our new materials.
It is great to see the kids collaborating and talking about what they created and hearing not only their imaginations get so creative but also to hear how their English language skills have developed.”

These active 3 and 4 year olds are growing up in inner city Dallas, Texas and need books to ignite their curiosity in order to give them a real reason to use "words". They mostly come from backgrounds where they will most likely be the first high school and even college graduates. In a competitive world where future jobs haven't been created yet, both thinking and language skills are imperative.
