There's 110 bright and ambitious middle schoolers in my Language Arts class. They are all focussed to be successful in middle school and become ready for High school. My students are coming from different backgrounds and have diverse needs. Many of them face various challenges at home. We try to foster a safe and supportive learning environment and hold high expectations for each one of them. Some of my students do not have a push or support from home to perform well and to try their best. This makes them unmotivated learners and are the hardest kids to reach. Some are struggling academically and some kids are too shy to ask for help. I make an effort to make learning meaningful and productive for them. A Doc camera will allow me to meet the needs of diverse students in my classroom. I want to give these students a visual learning experience and get them excited about learning!
