My students are a creative bunch. When they are allowed to use markers in any way, it helps them learn. When they have used markers before it has improved the learning that they have experienced. My school is comprised of low income students who do not have a lot. It is well known that the eight hours students are here might just be the only roof, food, or electricity that they see.
