  • Creating a Warm Welcome Learning Environment to Achieve Success

    Thank you so much for your donations , this has had a huge impact on my students, it has allowed me to create a rich and safe learning environment for my fourth graders (Donut Squad). I am allowed to create resources for my students and help bridge the gaps that have occurred due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.

    The next steps for the Donut squad is to eventually get a Cricket Iron Press so we can customize shirts and bags and whole lot more , to promote working as a team and help with social emotional learning.

    The 4th grade Donut Squad wants to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for your generosity so I can continue to be a lifelong learner and be successful in years to come. We are not going to let this pandemic get in the way of our learning anymore or our future.”

  • Help My Students Gain Knowledge By Chasing It Through Books!

    Thank you so much for providing my students with knowledge through books. The students in my class are enjoying the books that were purchased through this project. My students can't wait to go to the class library and pick out a book. Each child in the class now have books on their reading level, thanks to you. The students have moved up reading levels. Class 4-217 truly appreciates your donation to allow us to enjoy reading and learn through the pages of a book. Your donation is allowing my students to be able to gain knowledge and apply that knowledge.”

Our school is a Title I school in Harlem, NY that provides free or reduced lunch to approximately 90% of our students. Each of my students need different materials and learning experiences in order to be successful. By bringing just right books into our classroom library my 4th grade students will be provided with an avenue for success and be able to reach their reading goals of reading on grade level. Reading just right books will increase their focus and engagement which will ultimately increase their learning and success to meet their academic goals.
