Wiggle, Wobble, Learn!
Funded Mar 27, 2018This was such an awesome surprise! My students were so excited to receive their new wobble chairs! Each child got to unpack one and help put it together. They wanted to know if it was Christmas again. The new white board curriculum has really made a great impact on their learning.

Funded May 1, 2017My students are so grateful for their new kindles, we are able to read stories, play learning games, sing songs, and do exercises daily. Technology has enabled them to learn how to explore technology that is developmentally appropriate, fun, and easy to use. These kids fire tablets are wonderful for little hands and fingers to manipulate. The heavy duty case makes them virtually kid proof! They are also learning to be great class photographers by taking pictures of themselves and classmates throughout the room. We cannot begin to express our gratitude in all that you have done, your generosity has opened a world of possibilities!”

Watch Me Grow!
Funded Dec 31, 2016It is so very special to be chosen to have a project funded by you! Our schools try very hard to give our students all they need to learn and grow, but they are only able to supply the basics. You have enabled our pre-school classes to explore and excel in an area that I have hopes will produce a lifetime love for gardening.
To be a gardener will teach them such valuable lessons beyond the science aspects but about nutrients that are important to grow a healthy mind and body. It will teach them how to plan, be organized, determined, to work hard, to be disciplined, and to be proud of their work. It will also give them enjoyment and sustenance for their bodies.
Again, thank you for allowing us to have this wonderful opportunity. If not for generous hearts, our children would not have a chance to try new experiences.”

Mrs. Greer

Funded May 24, 2012I cannot begin to express how deeply your donation is appreciated. We are so anxious for the greenhouse to arrive so that we can begin our studies of plants.
The students will begin school next week and I can't wait to tell them that we will have a greenhouse to grow vegetables, flowers, and maybe trees. Our greenhouse will be arriving soon, and once we get it put together, we will be ready to go and grow!
Your generosity has touched our pre-school special needs classroom, and hopefully we will be able to reach out to the community to encourage home gardening. Through your donation, you have helped us to encourage healthy eating and give children the knowledge to grow thr own gardens. Hopefully this knowledge will last a lifetime and they can garden as a throughout their lives”

Funded Sep 26, 2010It is difficult to express gratitude to all those donors who have made my students project successful.
We recently spent the day with our new cameras outside, and the results were surprising to say the least. When we went back to transfer the pictures to the computer the students were amazed. Some were great, others not so, the best thing is they are able to delete pictures that are bad, and make that distinction. The children were very excited to see the pictures pop up on the computer, and laughed at the ones that were not so good! You have truly opened up a whole new world for them and a new way to look at the world around them. We are very grateful for your help and encouragement.
Yours,
Ms. Mary Kay Greer and the Pre-school Developmentally Classroom at Adamston Elementary School”

All are Welcome!
Funded Nov 1, 2009I cannot express my gratitude to each and everyone of you. Because of the amount of snow we have gotten we have not been able to put everything together outside, but the students are really enjoying the ride on toys in the gym. You would not believe how many students didn't know how to pedal a tricycle! They are not only getting exercise, but are learning how to use muscles they would not or did not know how to use! I was so touched by your generosity and my students are so grateful. We are waiting for the snow to melt so we can go outside and really enjoy what you have done for us.
With all of the problems we all are facing financially, I would never have been able to purchase these items for my students. The current economic hardships have hit these children and their families especially hard, and school continues to be a safe, educational, fun and happy environment, thanks to individuals like you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Greer
