Let’s Organize Kindergarten
Funded Dec 28, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity in gifting us with all the organizational supplies we needed! The kids can easily grab and put back construction paper, science materials, and social studies materials. They also know right where to turn in center work, homework and work from Matt workplaces thanks for the nice new bins and labels. It is always a challenge, teaching young elementary school students how to be and stay organized, but because of all these wonderful materials that you provided for us, it has really helped and it has impacted the learning greatly. Thanks so much again!”

Kindergarten Flexible Seating
Funded Sep 27, 2021Thank you so very much for generously donating to my classroom flexible seating carpet chairs. This has greatly enhanced my classroom. Students now have their own designated space and own chair to sit on during whole group learning. The students are no longer fidgeting or moving about restless, because they have a comfortable place to sit, and can focus all their time and attention on learning. Because they are collapsible we fold them up at the end of the day, and just get them out again in the morning. This has made such a huge difference in my classroom! I can't thank you enough for your support!”

Give Kindergarten The WRITE Stuff!
Funded May 6, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity in providing my kindergarten students with a variety of writing materials. It has really played a vital role in our daily routine. It has also contributed to improving students' letter and number formation and identification. Because of these writing supplies, my students are experiencing success in writing!
Everyday we use our magnetic dry erase boards, markers, and erasers to do community writing. During this time the students and I work together to write about a chosen topic. Students practice writing letters, words, sentences, and even numbers. We use the crayons magic markers, and clipboards consistently throughout the day. Thank you again so much!!!”

Funded Dec 1, 2020Thank you so much for your generosity this school year! It has been quite a challenging year with Covid19. As a district, we started out hybrid, then switched to fully remote for awhile. We came back hybrid, and now we are finishing the school year in person five days a week. With all that being said, the containers and labels you purchased for me made such a tremendous impact. It became so necessary for each child to keep their school supplies separate from everyone else. The containers and labels were perfect for that. The durable plastic allowed the children to transport their materials around the room easily. They were also able to be disinfected frequently which was key for this year! Thank you again so much for helping me keep my kindergartens safe and organized this school year!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation of a listening center for my classroom. It is already fostering a love for reading within the students! Everyday, we have an hour of managed independent learning to start off the day. The kindergarten students self select different centers to go to, and the listening center is by far the favorite!
The students can go to the listening center up to four at a time. There are always four book choices with multiple copies of the books as well as a cd of the reading of the book. There is a beautiful cart with a CD player and an adapter with four headphones. We modeled to the students how to browse the books and even how to put the cd in the CD player. They love doing that part! They can sit on soft bean bag chairs and listen to and follow along as the book is being read.
Thank you so much for enriching the students' lives with books! We have so many book choices to last all year! This will really enhance the students' comprehension, fluency, and word recognition. Many of my students come with little to no experiences with books, so this is so important in fostering this love for reading and learning.”

Funded May 2, 2017Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donations! All the STEM supplies have created an amazing learning environment, and is instilling a love of science into our kindergarten students. Through this opportunity we have established a weekly science lesson complete with an experiment or hands on activities. We started with a unit on magnets. As the students were exploring magnets they were so excited and totally engaged. One student exclaimed, "Magnets are like magic!" We used this as an opportunity to explain that science is kind of like that! It allows for discovery, which can help you find out more about the world around you. The items we use whole group in our weekly science time transition to a discovery Center that kids get to use daily during managed independent learning to re-create experiments and explore the items more personally. The kids totally love it! None of this would have been possible without these generous donations! Thank you again so much for helping foster a love of learning within my students.”
