I serve a diverse population of students. Some of my students have sensory needs & are struggling with anxiety. These weighted vests & other materials would be an asset to my students in need. These materials are not cheap, but would make a HUGE difference in student success. We have a couple of these vests & we’ve seen first hand how affective they are, we just don’t have enough to go around for all that need them. My district provides some resources & I dip into my own pocket for additional resources, but I want to provide my students with the very best supports possible.
