• New Puzzles and Supplies!

• Kitchen Play Set

  Funded Dec 31, 2024

  My Head Start students were so excited when our packages arrived from our funded project. They even helped me unpack everything. I hurried to put the kitchen play set together, as my students were anxious to use it.

  My students are loving playing in Dramatic Play center with a new, fully functioning kitchen set. Dramatic play is one of their favorite centers. The kitchen will allow them to

  develop their social, emotional and language skills through play. It will also encourage them to practice their communication skills, build empathy, and creatively express themselves through imaginative scenarios.

• Yummy Snacks for the Afternoon!

  My students were so excited when our snacks arrived at school! The helped me open the packages and were thrilled as I showed them each snack that we received. I had lots of smiles that day!

  This project is going to give my Head Start students a much needed boost in the afternoons. When students have full bellies, they are able to focus on learning and playing.

  The best part of this project is sneaking some learning in to snack time. For example, they have to count their teddy grahams or sort their snack before eating.

• Play and Learn in a Clean Classroom!

  I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone again for your donations to get this project funded.

  My students were so excited when the materials arrived! They love to help me open packages to find out what is inside. They were especially excited to learn that we got a brand new doll house! I could not get it together fast enough! The new dollhouse quickly became one of our poplar centers to play in.

  My Head Start students are very active and learning can get messy! The disinfecting wipes and paper towels are helping keep our room clean and germ free. The tissues are coming in handy as my little learners go through alot of them.

• Outside Play!

  Funded May 17, 2024

  My students were so excited to open the package when it arrived! They were guessing what might be inside and were beyond thrilled when they saw it was a brand new tricycle!

  They could not wait to get it put together and get outside to ride with their friends.

  This new tricycle gives my student opportunities to learn how to ride and have a tricycle that is the right size. Riding a tricycle help students build their gross motor skills and build muscle strength.

• Camping at Preschool!

  My students had so much fun helping open the packages for our funded project. They could not stop talking about all the learning materials that were inside the boxes. All my students were eager to set up our new camping center!

  We could not get the center set up fast enough! They are having so much fun learning and playing with their friends. It is so much fun watching them role play, use their imagination and working cooperatively to go camping with their friends!

  We are so grateful for all the generous donations to get this project funded. I know my Head Start students will enjoy this camping center for many, many years!

• New Rugs to Learn and Play!

  My Head Start student's were estactic to receive this project and open the packages with me! They couldn't wait to unroll the rugs and place them in to the classroom centers.

  The new rugs have provided my students and clean and comfortable place to learn and play with their friends. They sit on the new comfy and bright rugs with their friends and spend time putting puzzles together and playing with the dollhouse. They especially love the new playmat city rug. They spend hours using their imagination while playing on this rug.

• Cozy Learning Rug

  My students and I were so thrilled to learn that our project got funded! The excitement continued when our new carpet arrived! All my students helped open and lay out the carpet.

  My students are always excited to meet together on the rug to learn and play with their friends at school. Now with a brand new carpet, they can't wait to have group time each day. This rug will give my students many years of having a comfortable spot to learn.

• Learning Can Be So Much Fun!

  My students were so excited to get this project funded! They could not wait to help me open the boxes to see what's inside.

  My students love using the new play food sets, cleaning set and pretend play helmet in dramatic play. They use these materials to engage in learning with their friends.

  The cleaning supplies help keep our room clearn and germ free. This ensures that everyone stays healthy.
