The Ozobot, Dash/Dot, Squeaky the mouse, and Botley robots will not only supplement our current computer science curriculum; it will provide students with four different robot centers to explore and develop their coding skills. The robotic centers will engage students as they learn to attend to precision when creating instructions along with identifying and addressing errors within their sequenced instructions. Students that are provided the opportunity to learn coding at such a young age, learn valuable life lessons that teach them perseverance and determination. Without the exposure to robotics education, there is no way for students to build an interest in the computer science field. Technology empowers students in the classroom.
